This notice explains what personal data Teva Wellness & Lifestyle collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It is issued in accordance with the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
1. Who is responsible for your personal data
Teva Wellness & Lifestyle, with address at Edgar Allan Poe 1, Polanco, Ciudad de México, C.P. 11540, is responsible for the treatment of your personal data.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Identification and contact data: name, telephone number, email address and, where applicable, date of birth.
- Enquiry data: the message you send us, the membership or service you are interested in and your preferred schedule.
- Membership and billing data: membership type, start date, payment history and tax details required to issue an invoice.
- Health and physical data, for members: body composition, cardiorespiratory capacity, strength and mobility measurements, and the medical history you choose to share so we can design a safe programme.
- Access and usage data: entries to the club, bookings, attendance and use of our member applications.
- Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and how you reached our site.
3. Sensitive personal data
Health data is considered sensitive under Mexican law. We collect it only from members, only when it is necessary to design and adjust a training, nutrition or recovery protocol safely, and only with your express consent, given in writing at the time of your assessment.
We do not collect sensitive data through this website.
4. Primary purposes
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to your enquiry and schedule your tour or appointment.
- Evaluate and process your membership application.
- Deliver the services you contract, including assessments, personalised protocols and coaching.
- Manage your access to the club and to our member applications.
- Process payments and issue the corresponding tax receipts.
- Contact you about operational matters such as schedule changes, closures or safety notices.
- Comply with our legal, tax and safety obligations.
5. Secondary purposes
With your consent, we also use your data to invite you to events and experiences, send you our newsletter and wellness content, and carry out internal analysis to improve our services. These purposes are not necessary for the relationship between us.
You can ask us to stop using your data for these purposes at any time, by writing to hello@tevawellnesslifestyle.com, without affecting your membership.
6. How we collect your data
We collect data directly from you when you fill in a form on this website, write to us on WhatsApp, call us, visit the club or complete your assessment. We also collect browsing data automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
7. Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your language preference and understand how visitors use our pages, including through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. This information is used in aggregate to improve the site.
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. Some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
8. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with suppliers who process it on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations, including:
- Hosting and website infrastructure providers.
- Customer relationship and messaging platforms used to answer your enquiries.
- Assessment technology suppliers used during the Body Blueprint.
- Booking, training and club access applications.
- Payment processors and our accounting and invoicing providers.
- Analytics providers, in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
We may also disclose data where required by a competent authority or by law.
9. International transfers
Some of the suppliers listed above operate outside Mexico, which means your data may be stored or processed abroad. In those cases we require contractual commitments that maintain a level of protection consistent with this notice and with Mexican law. These transfers do not require your consent under the exceptions provided by law, as they are necessary to maintain the relationship between us.
10. Your ARCO rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to rectify it when it is inaccurate, to cancel it when you consider it unnecessary, and to oppose its use for specific purposes. You may also revoke the consent you have given us.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@tevawellnesslifestyle.com with the subject “Derechos ARCO”, including your full name, a means of contact, a clear description of what you are requesting and a copy of an official identification document. We will respond within the term established by law.
11. Revoking your consent
You may revoke your consent to the treatment of your data at any time using the same channel. Please note that in some cases we cannot end the treatment immediately, because certain data must be retained to comply with legal, tax or safety obligations.
12. Limiting the use and disclosure of your data
You can ask to be included in our internal exclusion list so that we stop sending you commercial communications. You may also register with the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising maintained by the federal consumer protection authority.
13. Security
We apply administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit internal access to the team members who need it to do their work. No system is completely secure, but we treat health and payment data with particular care.
14. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as the relationship between us is active, and afterwards for the periods required by tax, civil and health-related legislation. Once those periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.
15. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes in our services, our suppliers or applicable law. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date of last update at the top. Significant changes will be communicated by email or through the club.
